Something to gross your weekend out eh? These are known as Bot Fly larva and can even be passed on by mosquitoes carrying these bot fly eggs. Hmmmmm…

As usual, another day without work really bores the hell outta me. So i decided to ask Max out today ( although he lives directly opposite me and i see him almost everyday) to head down to a toy store to take a look. The nearest one to us was Toys’r'us in Tampines mall, so we decided to head down there since we haven’t been there for some time, despite the fact that we live in Tampines.  We used to go down to TM almost everyday after school in the past though. During secondary school days actually,  for lunch or to study. But that was history. 

No wait, I shouldn’t go off course. Yeah.. I was like “Geez, these are what kids are playing these days?” when i first walked into Toys’r'us. RC helicopters, RC Cars that can do stupid unbelievable things, RC these and that. And super awesome Transformers™ toys like Bumblebee™ and Optimus Prime™, yay! I mean, i didn’t recall playing such things. I’m 20 this year and i ain’t that far from being a kid. though i stopped playing toys when i was about 10. But i think these are too awesome gadgets to be handled by kids!! Hah!! 

Yeah right Transformers™, my time was still Power Rangers™ and Ninja Turtles™. How interesting.. Anyway, me and max walked over to the “Super Soaker” section. We did expect it to be pretty huge, but it wasn’t. I remember Super Soaker being really really popular last time. There were like soakers so HUGE, like so much taller than an average kid. But they all disappeared!! 

Then we realised, KIDS aren’t playing with water guns anymore. Instead, they are playing with plastic guns that shoot off foam ammo. WOW.. Yeah WOW. It even shoots further than the Supersoakers™… T.T Me and Max settled for an better Supersoaker™ which was really really cheap. I remembered it being pretty expensive, but it’s only 20 for an good one, so why not? 

Yup, We put it to good use directly after leaving the carpark of TM. Hehe Well, you can guess. My arms are all sore now from the pumping of Supersoaker. Hah!

Besides that, we went kite flying and boomerang throwing this afternoon . Boomerang, which really came back to me after i threw it about 12319087 times. Tsk. Sometimes i really wonder how max is gonna lead this kinda life till October 6th. Hmmm

Yes everybody, my Web admin has helped me set up a facebook account a while ago, but i haven’t got the chance to use it until recently. I’m not exactly a fan of social networking sites, but i figured using facebook would greatly keep me in touch with you guys. I believe my web admin has added some of you guys who commented on facebook yeah? Yeah, that’s me alright So keep a lookout on what’s gonna be updated. I’m still trying to figure how to use facebook properly, so pardon me. :) 

And yes, i have a twitter account as well, but i’m only going to focus on how to use facebook first before i try to confuse myself further with twitter, though i don’t think it’d be that difficult. 

Okay, so it’s Sunday now alright, and i’m still awake. Anyway, i WAS supposed to play baseball yesterday afternoon. Baseball, a dying sport in Singapore. I mean, who plays baseball nowadays? I guess you’d never figure how i even got to Kallang diamond to see people pitch. 

It was Max, who got so freaking bored during the holidays he decided to catch up with some stranger and do something conducive. Yea, turned out, it was baseball. As promised, i tagged along with him with 2 other guy friends of mine to Kallang diamond. It was total boredom. No wonder Homer J. Simpsons always disliked baseball. 

And I’m serious. Ended up, only Max and Stephen stayed there to pitch or whatsoever. I ended up playing soccer with Ben and meeting up with Benny. So if anyone wants to find something worse than boring, Baseball’s the sport for you.

Hey guys! I was actually back on the 19th, but i wanted to wait till my pictures were all uploaded before blogging this. Well, it’s was an awesome trip to Kota Kinabalu, i spent a total of 4 nights there , 2 days for diving, 1 day for water rafting, and R&R on the last day before my flight back home.

Had a total of 3 dives outta 4 over the past 2 days, missed one cause i wasn’t feeling well due to my sinus resulting in me not able to equalize. Yeah i was sad alright, although everyone said that the last dive was the best one. Hah!

Alright, at this point, I decided i’d post more pictures without commenting on anything as I’m begining to find myself irritating.

Alright, as promised i said i’ll be back to blog once i finished my reservist. So, here i am, back home safe and sound. After finishing my national service for more than a year, this was the first in-camp training i had. It was a pretty fun experience though, although my whole body was aching on friday, even till now after running my IPPT. 

It was really nice being back to camp, nothing seemed to have changed much. And my platoon is still as fun as ever, hah! I think guys tend to mature more after  finishing their service, but back at camp everyone’s pretty much a kokster again. Haha! i JUST had to use this term.

And to be honest, nobody really gives a damn about anything no more. Nobody marches to anywhere else or shaves everyday. Basically half the people have their hair  long and even the officers don’t care. Haha!!  And me myself, i woke up later than 9am more than half the time and nobody bothered to wake me up. 

Well, i think i’ve been too used to my aircon and i’ve been pespiring a lot in camp, maybe it was the weather. But again, i think i’ve been leading too good a life. 20 over guys in once bunk filled with nonsense, haha. See you guys next year~!!

Okay, back to the topic of Kota Kinabalu. Been some time since i dived, I’m leaving soon and only coming back on the 19th i suppose. So be sure to keep a lookout if i post any photos. Havent been to KK before but i heard it’s a pretty good dive site. Cant wait to see for myself.

That’s right. Sorry if i havent been able to update at all. Been busy filming and rehearsing for the charity event which i believe most of you have caught just now.

Finally we’re over and done with it after so many weeks of training. Well, it was worth the effort i should say. Seeing the amount of money donated really made me glad. 

Reservist.. I can still remember the day i went operationally ready. 6th may 2008. It’s been more than a year and I’m finally going back to see my comrades. Hah! After the rehearsal for the event yesterday, i actually chanced upon my platoon mate. Gosh i have to say we all really looked different with normal hairstyles and plain clothes. I missed him though, and i didn’t actually realise that yesterday. 

Well, i’m seeing him tmr. And the rest of the guys. Gee how i miss those days when there’s nth to worry about at all besides your physical fitness. HAHA!! I’m signing off. Gonna need the rest. I’ll be back, in a week. And to tell you about my holiday trip!! hehe!

Woah, filmings’ canceled right at the last minute. Meaning i wouldn’t have to drag myself up from the bed at 6am anymore. At least not on a Saturday. It’s something i always dreaded doing.. But I’d still be going for the Nittaku Promo at Singapore Expo. So i guess i’ll see you guys there. And you guys will see me wearing my own track pants and a table tennis tee given to me by em’. I really really haven’t figured what can it go with. It’s baby blue and I’m really lost right now. Come, help THINK!

Anyway, is anyone here into thai food? A friend of mine i met in army just opened a Thai restaurant recently, 3 weeks ago to be exact. To be honest, I can’t take spicy food at all because it ALWAYS gives me the runs. And i was pretty sure my friend didn’t know that. Hah!

Still, i went and ate, and surprised myself! It was a really simple and cosy restaurant and the food was awesome! It’s mainly Thai dishes with some pretty unique side dishes prepared by a Thai and Malaysian Chef. The food isn’t pricy as well, i think it’s easily much cheaper than Thai Exp.  

I was there with 2 other friends and we did order quite a bit. But i didn’t take any pictures of the food. :S But i do have pictures of the deserts which my friend sent me. Mangos and Glutinous rice, sounds weird huh? At least that was what i thought. But when it came, geez.. It tasted really good! My friend explained that it was a must have at Thai restaurants. I guess i really don’t frequent Thai restaurants at all.. 

Here’s the address of the restaurant: Thai Central Casual Dining, 16 Chun Tin Road. Pretty neat place i’d say. And good location. It’s really near Beauty World, and right across a carpark if anyone’s driving. Here’re the deserts i had when i was there :

Says on my schedule it’d be from 6pm till 9pm. I suppose I’ll be on stage at about 7.

Hi guys, sorry if i haven’t been able to update recently. Yup, i was at Aeon mall for the promotion of Table of Glory for Astro on Sunday. Well, i have to say the crowd was really really very heartwarming. I was pretty sure there were more than a thousand ppl there. Not something i see everyday ya know. It was so nice to see you guys so active into the event. If given the chance, I’d hope to go back there for more road shows. I wanted to inform you guys of the event earlier. But i couldn’t as i was too caught up with some family issues. No, it’s not fine yet but don’t worry. 

Anyway, i was on Celeb Teatalk earlier on with DYT. It’s a talk show where the host just ask the celebs really privacy intruding questions. Hah! Well, as some of you might know, my mandarin ain’t that good compared to my english. But i thought i did alright with DYT, even though i was pretty sure he was talking a hell lot more than me. And thanks to Gouliang dage and Yifeng jie for guiding me throughout the whole programme, which i managed to scrape thru safely w/o saying any wrong stuffs. I hope. 

Right, the next thing i’ll be busy with is the Community Chess Event. It’ll be on 7th of June 09 and i mentioned before that i’m performing a short display of martial arts. I’ve got training tomorrow, so i’ll see you guys again.

Every night before i sleep, i’ll contemplate on the things that i’ve done during the day. Things i’ve missed out doing. Mistakes i’ve  made, and deeds i’ve did or whatever it is. But sometimes on some nights, i’ll just miss out this moment of time i always have with myself. Because my mind is occupied with something else. If you might have guessed it, yeah. It’s Misery. 

I think the picture of my life and my family being painted to you guys or whomever who knows me, is done too well. Everything is hidden too perfectly, even my closest don’t know shit about anything. Even my mom or brother. 

I look around at people of my age who are still studying or who are still in army. How comforting it is, to be still hidden from reality. Or maybe, I’m the only one who’ll ever be  facing this kinda problems. 

If you root it back to the issue. What’s the problem? Tsk tsk, money.. Yeah, it has always been the case ever since i was earning those miserable sums coming to think about it. 

19th of May 09. I’m supposed to go on a variety show to talk about my personal life. I’m going to call it right off. I don’t have anything to talk about anymore. I don’t wanna lie to anyone no more. I don’t want to tell myself how fortunate i am anymore. Because I’m not.

If right at the age of 20, without much accomplishments. And you’ve got nothing to say about your family, because nothing was cherished. And nothing was worthy of being remembered. What’s the point? 

I’ve been lying to everyone. Even my closest, just to paint the picture well, just to put that brave front in front of everyone else and make everything look perfectly alright. Even me myself fall for it sometimes, believing that it’s really the life i’m leading. Which is not. 

I’m not going to fall for it again. Ever. 

Today is the last day, that i’m ever gonna feel anything for that person. Nothing. With these said, it all ends here.
