My blossom in my garden of Life™
by Joshua on Feb.06, 2010, under Day by Day..., just words
Dear Life,
You were awesome today. Much. In fact, it was so amazing that I really thought I was beyond reach of God’s grace. It’s pretty awkward getting back to your usual effed self, and allowing me to smash stuffs thinking it’d make me feel better you know? Often, I do puzzle myself at why you tease me so mercifully.
But to a special sister of mine. Maybe you didn’t realize how much you said meant to me today. Thank you, for being more than a friend. Thank you, for asking and caring about me. And I thank you again, for sharing with me. Because you didn’t have to, but I’m really glad you did, so I could feel real comfort.
And thus, I dedicate my 1043 to you.
Life is most beautiful when it’s back is turned against you, with the right people around™ 1043.

Happy Hedgie is happy now ^^
Bought the tickets? Take the ride.
by Joshua on Feb.03, 2010, under just words
Dear Life, I bought the tickets to your ride. Now surprise me when I’m still here waiting like a fool for something to happen. 1047
Sometimes I imagine myself being big fish in a small pond who’s been wanting to be drowned in the ocean since 1095. 1046
I really want to forget some things. And they say the best way to forget something is to turn it into literature. Maybe I should write a book before what always happens.1045
Many mornings when I wake up, I always realise something. Things I was never sure of and never realized when you were around. 1044

Happy Birthday Mommy™
by Joshua on Oct.24, 2009, under just words
While I am still mourning the loss of the person on whom I have bestowed my dearest love, I am rejoicing to meet you behind the veil. Your death left a heartache no one could heal, but your love left a memory no one could ever steal. You still cross my mind every now and then. And there are so many things that I wanna share with you. I really miss you. And your smile, which I have loved long since and lost awhile.
I love you, Happy Birthday.
Welcome Back!!!™

Hey guys! I was actually back on the 19th, but i wanted to wait till my pictures were all uploaded before blogging this. Well, it’s was an awesome trip to Kota Kinabalu, i spent a total of 4 nights there , 2 days for diving, 1 day for water rafting, and R&R on the last day before my flight back home.
Had a total of 3 dives outta 4 over the past 2 days, missed one cause i wasn’t feeling well due to my sinus resulting in me not able to equalize. Yeah i was sad alright, although everyone said that the last dive was the best one. Hah!
Here’s a video edited by my beloved bro DK:
He spent a total of 5 hours getting it up. Shank you very much!!
Here’s the clique whom i went with:

Very very funny bunch. And how can i miss out my hairstylist Joanne? She’s the one in black:

Pictures taken at the water rafting site:

Alright, at this point, I decided i’d post more pictures without commenting on anything as I’m begining to find myself irritating.

Kota Kinabalu Here I Come™!
by Joshua on Jun.15, 2009, under just words
Alright, as promised i said i’ll be back to blog once i finished my reservist. So, here i am, back home safe and sound.
After finishing my national service for more than a year, this was the first in-camp training i had. It was a pretty fun experience though, although my whole body was aching on friday, even till now after running my IPPT.
It was really nice being back to camp, nothing seemed to have changed much. And my platoon is still as fun as ever, hah! I think guys tend to mature more after finishing their service, but back at camp everyone’s pretty much a kokster again. Haha! i JUST had to use this term.
And to be honest, nobody really gives a damn about anything no more. Nobody marches to anywhere else or shaves everyday. Basically half the people have their hair long and even the officers don’t care. Haha!! And me myself, i woke up later than 9am more than half the time and nobody bothered to wake me up.
Well, i think i’ve been too used to my aircon and i’ve been pespiring a lot in camp, maybe it was the weather. But again, i think i’ve been leading too good a life. 20 over guys in once bunk filled with nonsense, haha. See you guys next year~!!
Okay, back to the topic of Kota Kinabalu. Been some time since i dived, I’m leaving soon and only coming back on the 19th i suppose. So be sure to keep a lookout if i post any photos. Havent been to KK before but i heard it’s a pretty good dive site. Cant wait to see for myself.
Reservist!™
by Joshua on Jun.08, 2009, under just words
That’s right. Sorry if i havent been able to update at all. Been busy filming and rehearsing for the charity event which i believe most of you have caught just now.
Finally we’re over and done with it after so many weeks of training. Well, it was worth the effort i should say. Seeing the amount of money donated really made me glad.
Reservist.. I can still remember the day i went operationally ready. 6th may 2008. It’s been more than a year and I’m finally going back to see my comrades. Hah! After the rehearsal for the event yesterday, i actually chanced upon my platoon mate. Gosh i have to say we all really looked different with normal hairstyles and plain clothes. I missed him though, and i didn’t actually realise that yesterday.
Well, i’m seeing him tmr. And the rest of the guys. Gee how i miss those days when there’s nth to worry about at all besides your physical fitness. HAHA!! I’m signing off. Gonna need the rest. I’ll be back, in a week. And to tell you about my holiday trip!! hehe!
Work Canceled!
by Joshua on May.29, 2009, under just words
Woah, filmings’ canceled right at the last minute. Meaning i wouldn’t have to drag myself up from the bed at 6am anymore. At least not on a Saturday. It’s something i always dreaded doing..
But I’d still be going for the Nittaku Promo at Singapore Expo. So i guess i’ll see you guys there. And you guys will see me wearing my own track pants and a table tennis tee given to me by em’. I really really haven’t figured what can it go with. It’s baby blue and I’m really lost right now. Come, help THINK!
Anyway, is anyone here into thai food? A friend of mine i met in army just opened a Thai restaurant recently, 3 weeks ago to be exact. To be honest, I can’t take spicy food at all because it ALWAYS gives me the runs. And i was pretty sure my friend didn’t know that. Hah!
Still, i went and ate, and surprised myself! It was a really simple and cosy restaurant and the food was awesome! It’s mainly Thai dishes with some pretty unique side dishes prepared by a Thai and Malaysian Chef. The food isn’t pricy as well, i think it’s easily much cheaper than Thai Exp.
I was there with 2 other friends and we did order quite a bit. But i didn’t take any pictures of the food. :S But i do have pictures of the deserts which my friend sent me. Mangos and Glutinous rice, sounds weird huh? At least that was what i thought. But when it came, geez.. It tasted really good! My friend explained that it was a must have at Thai restaurants. I guess i really don’t frequent Thai restaurants at all..
Here’s the address of the restaurant: Thai Central Casual Dining, 16 Chun Tin Road. Pretty neat place i’d say. And good location. It’s really near Beauty World, and right across a carpark if anyone’s driving. Here’re the deserts i had when i was there
:

My favorite :)
Here’s how the place looks like, in the day AND night. So you can’t miss it. :

Alright, I’m signing off because I’m trying to live healthy.
Trust™
by Joshua on Apr.04, 2009, under just words
Trust, it’s a fragile thing. But once you’ve earned the trust of someone, it gives you freedom. It’s always awfully easy to lie when you know that you’re being trusted implicitly. But once trust is lost, it could be impossible to recover, ever. Of course the truth is, we never know who we can trust. Often, those people whom we’re closest to, are always the ones who betray us. And it’s those total strangers who are the ones who come to our rescue. At the end of the day, most people decide to trust only themselves. It’s really the simplest way to keep yourself from getting hurt. But, the easiest person to deceive is one’s own self.

Yup that’s a piano alright. I’m finally going back for piano lessons! 1st piano lesson i had in years and this time, I’m gonna take it to a higher level. A promise and a target I made for myself. Well, i was given 3 pieces to play for a start. And 2 I’ve done before. But my piano teacher has a higher and different expectation of me right now. And i suppose im supposed to interpret them all differently now. The 3 pieces are Schubert’s Impromptu in Eb major, JS. Bach’s Italian Concerto First movement and Rachmaninoff’s Raphsody on the theme oh Paganini Variation ????. I’ll post the pieces that im learning here tomorrow when i can find them.
Besides that, i caught Table of Glory™ on MobTV just now! Borrowed my friend’s account and watched the first 10 episodes! Kinda weird having my brother watching along side with me though. Haha!! But i think it was edited and filmed pretty well. Considering the fact that we were basically rushing through the whole drama like frantically EVERYDAY. Brings back old memories watching myself play table tennis against the wall though. Freaks me out still when i think back about having a whole bunch of crew waiting to go home only if i can play properly. :S
Okay you guys got to go watch it yourself. Now something more private; Here’s my bottle of Vodka with kiwi inside!!! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long long long time after trying my friend’s Vodka with apricot inside!! He put em’ inside and kept it for 5 years before taking out to try it. And geez, it’s AWESOME. Next bottle will have strawberries inside. Hehe

Seriously ill..
by Joshua on Dec.10, 2008, under just words
Ok, sorry that there hasn’t been any updates recently. i fell ill last week and even missed table tennis training 3 days in a row. Yeah, that was how bad it was. Well, so have you guys had fun? Since yesterady was a public holiday for everyone. Table tennis training resumed today and my hands are aching from the trainings, AGAIN. Friday might be the last day of training for everyone though, cause we’re gonna strat filming pretty soon i guess.
Anyways, as i mentioned in my previous post. This coming saturday on the 13th, i’ll be at jurong point for a promotion for my new dvd. yupp, so be there.
