Would You?
by on Aug.04, 2008, under Day by Day...
Would you walk out of a store after dropping or spoiling their products? Or would you run away from something that you’ve done wrong without even saying sorry? Would you?
I parked my car at a multistorey carpark yesterday, when i got back to it, i was just dumbfounded. Seriously. Apparently, someone brushed against my car, and it was a huge one. I looked around, hoping to find a piece of paper with at least a sorry on it, but no. Nothing. The person left, just like that.
I wasn’t angry at all. Not the least bit of it. I just looked at the scraped off paint works of my car in disdain. It was just like a hit and run accident. Respraying that part of the car wasn’t expensive. Though just a word of sorry would appease me. Surely that person learnt something from pre-school, right?

i think typical Singaporean would not really apologise for these things unless they are caught red handed..for me i would apologise for things i have done in the store but car wise.. nahh i don’t really give a damn if its jus a tini wini part but if its super duper ultra mega big then i would pay for it. Can’t wait to see u back on the screen in my tv !! : )

agreed. just a simple word of apology will be that difficult for them

mine was worse.
When i do stunt on my bike the whole thing came out
cause the screw was screwed out.
I landed in the hospital
Maybe the guy who sprayed your car did not do it on purpose but i’m sure mine was.

well that’s really annoying and further annoying to never have someone at least offered an apology. u know, there r some hu find it difficult to say sorry as if it would destroy their ego. Just develop a forgiving attitude whoever the culprit cud be. Nwei, what goes around comes around. At least ur dad made an effort to repaint it. just appreciate 8 though it didn’t turn out the way u like it… (“,)

i would apologise & pay for the damage. Just did it like yesterday? LOL. was pretty upset to pay for something, which is nothing because the product is damaged & i cant use it anymore. sigh. anyways, see how good i am? xD. Just kidding. lol
I guess that person is just afraid to be asked to pay or get scolded. Hmm…

I think the person is just probably scared you will scold him for smth like that . Yeah , it’s cowardly , but most people would do it , to avoid getting themselves into trouble . Well , afterall , almost all Singaporeans are selfish and kiasu . They mostly only care for themselves .
